Getting to Know Your
Convention & Visitors Bureau
Recognizing the important strategic and economic role that tourism has in our region’s development, the Rabun County Convention & Visitors Bureau (CVB) Authority was established by a legislative act of the Georgia General Assembly in 2005 for the purposes of promotion and the long-term development of tourism in Rabun County.
The CVB is the single entity that brings together the governmental tourism interests of our county, and its incorporated cities, with private sector attractions and events, our artisans and growers, and individual hospitality industry suppliers. The CVB’s role is to coordinate the development efforts and consolidate the marketing and promotion of Rabun County’s tourism assets in order to maximize economic impact.
