Water and sewer capacity is available with plenty of room for growth in Rabun County.

The Clayton/Rabun County Water & Sewer Authority provides water and sewer service in most areas of Rabun County. The county has an available water capacity of over 2 million gallons per day and an available sewage treatment capacity of over half a million gallons per day. However, the county has constructed and permitted a second sewer treatment plant in Rabun Gap that will come on line in 2010 and provide an additional 2 million gallons per day of sewage treatment capacity.

Dillard is served by a separate City sewer treatment plant with a 100,000 gallon per day capacity. It currently has an unused capacity of 60,000 gallons per day.

Broadband internet is available in most areas throughout Rabun County through Windstream. The maximum bandwidth capacity is 12 megabytes per second.
