Agri-Tourism

Rabun County is no stranger to agriculture. Due to the area’s rugged terrain, agriculture was the only major industry in Rabun County until the 1880s, and today the county is host to a variety of organic growers and several agri-business destinations, including:
  • Chattooga Belle Farms is a 138 acre working farm in the shadow of the majestic Blue Ridge Mountains. The farm features a u-pick operation with apple and peach orchards, grapes and muscadines, blackberries and blueberries. The farm also features a large Event Barn perfect for weddings, special occasions or corporate retreats.
  • Hillside Orchard Farms. With a country store and thriving mail order business, Hillside Orchard Farms is a local favorite for their pumpkin patch, corn maze, and wide variety of homemade delicacies.
  • Osage Farms. A seasonal roadside market located on Hwy 441 in Rabun Gap. Osage Farms sells some of the freshest locally grown fruits, vegetables, and Christmas trees.
  • Simply Homegrown: A Community Market. Offers exclusively locally grown produce (some of it organic) and flowers, and value-added items, including jams, preserves, honey, eggs, herbs, medicinal salves, stone-ground corn meal and flours, and baked goods, 9 a.m. to Noon on Saturdays in season, in front of Butler's II, 74 N.
